Recently I have come across the beautiful video tutorial that explains step by step process of creating a textural mixed media journal cover, inspired by Steampunk. The video is made by Gabrielle Pollacco, who’s been scrapbooking for about 10 years now and is on a number of manufacturers design teams including Websters Pages, Bo Bunny, Maja Design, Dusty Attic Designs and Scrap365 Magazine. She is also a sponsored designer for My Little Yellow Bicycle, Tresors de Luxe, The Scrapbook Diaries and has been on the past design teams of Daisy D's, Zva Creative and has done guest spots for a number of kit clubs.
In this video she’s using Cheery Lynn die cuts to create an awesome journal cover that any steampunk adherer would kill to obtain.
After this video, you may even decide to make some of these designs by yourself and venture in scrapbooking world. It is very creative, pretty, lets you unleash your imagination.
